Tasting notes : A classic style California Cabernet – with an emphasis on cassis and blackberry aromas. The relatively low alcohol level keeps everything in balance while the juicy fruit flavors carry through on the palate with firm, ripe tannins.
The Trip Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Lodi fruit. The wine saw 20 months in new and once-used French and Hungarian oak (Treuil, Trust, Radoux, and Saury cooperages).
