"Tenuta Sette Ponti has been one of the family properties since the 1950s when Antonio’s father, the architect Alberto Moretti Cuseri, bought the first 50 hectares directly from the princesses Margherita and Maria Cristina di Savoia-Aosta. Located in Chianti, between the cities of Florence and Arezzo, it takes its name from the number of bridges that connect the two banks of the Arno river between the Etruscan city and the Tuscan capital.
Today the Estate, after some acquisitions made over the years, has over 300 hectares, of which 54 are located in vineyards. The varieties produced are Sangiovese , or the traditional vine, together with the great internationals such as Merlot , Cabernet Sauvignon , Cabernet Franc , as well as other indigenous varieties such as Trebbiano produced in small quantities." -Tenuta Sette Ponti
