Just Tasted! I have long been a fan of the wines of Scopetone, from their Rosso di Mntacino to their Brunellos. But this is the first time I have tasted their delicious IGT Rosso Toscana – a 100% Sangiovese Grosso (same as in their Brunello) that offers Brunello-like flavors and nuance in a very affordable, ready to drink wine that is the perfect summer red!

Medium ruby hue, expressive bouquet of dried red cherry and lovely Brunell earth tinged Sangiovese note, followed by similar flavors on the palate with a hint of mochas and dark berry, moderate tannins and medium body.
