Patria Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch 2019

(95-98) Points Vinous Media – “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch is a stunning wine. Dark, virile and imposing, the 2019 packs so much energy and complexity into its mid-weight frame. Generous dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add layers of dimension. The 2019 is hugely promising. I can’t wait to taste it from bottle next year.”

Rated (94-96), The Wine Advocate – “The 2019 Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes skipping out of the glass with bright, cheery scents of blackcurrant jelly, kirsch and wild blueberries, followed by nuances of fragrant earth, pencil lead and lavender. The full-bodied palate has a firm, grainy texture and bags of freshness supporting the generous fruit, finishing long with mineral and earth sparks. 590 cases are due to be made.”

What more can we say about these stunning new releases from Tony Biagi that the top critics haven’t already covered? Perhaps that this wine is under $100, and most wines with this kind of rating will set you back $175-$200 and more! Even more amazing is we have enough wine on hand to offer to the entire list instead of doling it out in miserly allocations. That said, it is not an endless supply! Get in on this top Napa wine now before it’s gone, cellar it for a few years, and then enjoy it for a decade and more! Cheers! Chris
