Terroir: Grapes cultivated in the prestigious Bussia area in Monforte d’Alba;Tortonian and Elvezian soil ; limestone, clay, marl and sand

Winemaking: Hand-harvested; soft pressing; long maceration; spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts (no sulfites); aged 18 months in small oak barrels in contact with its indigenous yeasts; aged nearly 5 years in bottle at controlled temperature of 15°C.

99 James Suckling – A wild, rich Barolo, showing the richness of the vintage with plums, toffee and smoked meat. Full-bodied, dense and layered with exotic and gamy fruit at the end. A wonderful old release. Special wine. Drink or hold.
