Massolino Langhe Chardonnay 2018

92 James Suckling

Massolino is a big name in Piedmont, especially in Serralunga d’Alba where their vineyards run through the heart of town. While much of the attention is devoted to their world-class Nebbiolo, their entire lineup is rock solid including their Langhe Chardonnay.

The 2019 Langhe Chardonnay is pale straw color with aromas of fresh and ripe stone fruits and hints of hay. It’s a layered, beautifully constructed Chardonnay that continues to give more with time in the glass. It’s a delicious wine to drink in its youth.
