Want to get much of the incredible character of Gandona’s 2016 Estate Cab but at less than half the price? Lock onto this incredible second wine and enjoy it now and over the next 5-10. Made from younger vines near the top of the vineyard, it shows much of the same character of the flagship Cabernet, but it is accessible much sooner and will cost you less than half the price. Buy some for now, to drink while you wait for the Estate Cab to reach its prime. Just 36 bottles on offer. Cheers, Chris

"The 2016 Encosta launches with an intense nose of black cherries, Framboise liqueur, and cherry blossoms. The aromatics continue to elevate with fragrant notes of strawberry preserves, violet crumble, orange zest and forest floor. Persistent and exuberant, the silky texture glides across the palate while the mouth-watering acidity builds and carries the brightness and elegance through the lengthy, flourishing finish. Remarkably integrated, the tannins are in attendance without being assertive. Reflective of the vineyard and resplendent growing season, this is a highly finessed wine that will continue to reveal itself with age." -Winemaker Notes, Gandona
