89-91 Wine Advocate – “From lieux-dits Grand Poirier and Grasse Têtes comes Trapet’s 2018 Marsannay, a nicely structured wine that offers up aromas of raspberries, cherries, raw cocoa and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, lively and precise, it’s framed by fine, powdery tannins and succulent acids.”

88-90 Vinous – “The 2018 Marsannay Rouge, which comes from three parcels (two located in Les Grasses-Têtes) had been racked the week prior to my visit to the domaine. It offers a mixture of black and blueberry fruit on the nose, which is not overly complex but nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, pliant tannins. There is a fine bead of acidity, and more red fruit (cranberry and wild strawberry) and hints of tea leaf and white pepper emerge toward the finish.”
