Château Corbin Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe 2015

92 Wine Advocate – "The medium garnet-purple colored 2016 Chauvin has quite a meaty/savory nose of chargrill, black olives, sautéed herbs and truffles with a core of baked plums and lifted black cherry compote. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid frame of rounded tannins and just enough freshness to offer a seamless boost to the long earthy finish."

91 Vinous Media "A deep, powerful wine, the 2012 Chauvin possesses notable mid-palate volume that carries the fruit very nicely. Wild flowers mint and sweet tobacco add complexity and nuance throughout. The 2012 can be enjoyed young for its more exuberant qualities, but it should also age nicely for the better part of the next decade or so."
