Catherine and Pierre Breton’s vineyard is a result of intergenerational and family work since 1886. They cultivate two single grape varieties from the Loire Valley, Chenin and Cabernet Franc. Organic farming supports their pursuit of a living balance, mixing ancient alluvial soils, known as Galuches; siliceous clay soils, known as Perrieres or Pierres Rousses; and clay-limestone soils, known as tuffs, in the Bourgueil, Vouvray and Chinon appellations. -Domaine Breton
