Caterwaul Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019

$54.97 per bottle – $49.97 on six or more!

Jeb Dunnuck 94 Points: “A wine that should be one of the great values in the vintage, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley just about jumps out of the glass with its fruit-forward, undeniably delicious style that could be drunk today. Notes of cassis and berry fruits, lots of spice and flower nuances, full-bodied richness, and ripe, polished tannins all make for a no-brainer purchase geared for drinking over the coming decade.”

Just arrived! Don’t miss this incredible Napa Cabernet from one of California’s most talented and sought after winemakers! Caterwaul is a joint effort between Matt Hardin, 6th generation Napa farmer and the owner of Matthew Wallace Wines, and Thomas Rivers Brown, winemaker for some of California’s top wineries including Schrader Cellars, Outpost and his own winery Rivers-Marie. Racking up 100-point wines is just part of how talented he is, crafting many of California’s most iconic wines. After working together on various projects, they became good friends, and eventually launched Caterwaul sourcing grapes from Matt’s vineyard and other top sites in Napa, and employing Thomas’ talents in the cellar. They make several cuvees, Cemetery and Regusci single vineyards, but those will set you back around the $100 mark.

The best buy they make is hands down their Napa Cabernet at about half the price and a delicious glassful of dark, succulent, honest Napa Cab. Only half a dozen cases on offer – this will go fast!
