Love fine French Champagne but not the price? We have the answer! Bruno Dangin’s incredible Cuvee Blanche Cremant is the perfect alternative. This starts off Bright and lively with a fine persistent mousse, hints of green apple underpinned by notes of freshly baked bread, and delivers a clean sparkling brilliance from start to finish. This is an amazingly affordable bubbly that will give Champagne selling for twice as much a run for the money.
The key to this great discovery starts with biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir grapes from 30 year old Pinot Noir vines grown just outside the Champagne region in the northern reaches of Burgundy’s famed Cote d’Or. The area’s cool climate, coupled with the Argilo-Calcaire soils from the Jurassic Supérieur era bring racy acidity coupled with Champagne-like minerality and focus. And even better, Dangin’s location just outside Champagne’s Aube AOC keeps the price much lower than bubbly produced just over the border.
